Our Story
Project Compassion began as a group where our family members and friends could provide some help to the poor. In 2020, our group decided to motivate others to gather donations and resources to provide food, clothing, and medical supplies to some of the most vulnerable populations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Peru. It was during these missions that we realized we could do more to help those who need the most. Project Compassion is now a registered 501 (C3) nonprofit organization committed to helping the poor, homeless, sick, and elderly.
Our Impact
Since 2019, we have provided food, clothing, medical and school supplies to over 150 families in the tows of Pocsi, La Joya, and Chiguata in Arequipa, Peru. We have also provided toys and food to orphanages for mentally disabled children, and clothing to shelters for homeless seniors.
Our Vision
We strive to reach the most vulnerable communities and expand our efforts to other regions of Peru and abroad. Thus, trying to lessen human suffering.
Our Mission
We are committed to helping those who need it the most by providing basic necessities like food, clothing, medical and school supplies.
